Morocco ready to share its rich agricultural experience with Africa

NEWSROOM (ADV) – Moroccan Prime Minister, Saad Eddine El Othmani, affirmed, Sunday evening in Addis Ababa, that his country is ready to share its successful experiences in the agricultural field with his African brothers.

El Othmani, who took part in a high-level meeting on agricultural transformation in the African continent, held on the sidelines of the 32nd Ordinary Summit of the African Union (AU), highlighted the “rich” cumulative experience by Morocco in agricultural matters and the encouraging results achieved by the Kingdom under the Green Morocco Plan, which enabled it to achieve significant progress in water management, the use of advanced agricultural technologies, the promotion of scientific research in the agricultural field and the valorization of agricultural products.

This high-level meeting was chaired by Paul Kagame, the outgoing President of the Republic of Rwanda.

As a reminder, Mr. El Otmani chairs the Moroccan delegation to this summit, which began on Sunday in Addis Ababa. The Moroccan delegation is made up of Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Nasser Bourita and Minister Delegate for African Cooperation Mohcine Jazouli.
