Morocco : the building of a new Huawei giant logistics center in Tangier

Casablanca, Morocco (ADV) – Global telecommunications giant Huawei said it plans to set up a regional logistics center at Tangier Med port to cover Morocco’s neighboring countries.

Morocco has an exceptional geographical location, great political stability, a very rich cultural diversity and an environment conducive to business, said Vice President Huawei Peng Zhongyang, during a meeting with the head of government Saad-Eddine El Othmani on the sidelines of the China-Africa Forum in Beijing, announcing the establishment of this regional logistics center in this global logistics hub.

This meeting was an opportunity to present the activities and achievements of Huawei in the world and in the Kingdom, reiterating the group’s commitment to Morocco.

Mr. Zhongyang also presented the investments made in the premises and structure of Huawei in Morocco and, in order to ensure an optimal working and training environment for the Moroccan staff of the group.
