Kuwait vows to develop strong ties with Egypt

NEWSROOM (ADV) – Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah said Sunday his country will continue support for Egypt to achieve stability and more growth.

The statement came during a meeting with visiting Egyptian Speaker of the House of Representative Ali Abdel-Aal and his accompanying delegation.

Sheikh Al-Sabah said he will soon visit Egypt.

Meanwhile, Abdel-Aal praised Kuwait for its support of Egypt in the economic and political areas.

He also praised the balanced role played by Kuwait in the Middle East, saying that Kuwait also hosted conferences to support people in Syria and Iraq.

Abdel-Aal is on a five-day visit to Kuwait starting Saturday to discuss bilateral ties and boost parliamentary relations.
