Casablanca, Morocco (ADV) – The work of the 6th edition of the International Africa Development Forum (IADF) opened on Thursday in Casablanca, Morocco, under the theme “When the East meets the West”.

Organized by the Africa Development Club of Attijariwafa bank Group, IADF is considered as a reference platform in Africa, reflecting the commitment of the economic and political community in the intracontinental dynamics.

The opening ceremony of this event took place on Thursday morning, chaired by the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone Juluis Maada Bio, whose country is the guest of honor of this edition.

A parterre of personalities, composed of several ministers, ambassadors, economic operators from 34 countries and representatives of the media take part in this meeting.

This edition will focus on economic advocacy with regard to intra-African integration, the networking of countries and investors in the investment market and the linking of economic operators with B to appointments B previously organized.

In addition to Sierra Leone, the Investment Market this year includes Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Morocco and Rwanda.

As a reminder, the IADF is an initiative born in 2010, led by one of the pan-African investment funds of the continent, Al Mada, reference shareholder of Attijariwafa bank.

Since its creation, the Forum has brought together over 7,500 operators from 36 countries and generated more than 17,000 B to B meetings.
