Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (ADV) – Ethiopian Airlines boss, Tewolde GebreMariam Wednesday said the black boxes of the fatal flight could most probably be sent to the United States or Germany for analysis.

Several attempts to have the boxes analyzed in Ethiopia have proven futile and hence the imperative to eye specialist outfits in the United States or Germany.

But the Airlines’ boss is upbeat about sending the boxes to “a closer country in Europe in the interest of proximity and in the interest of speed.”

Even though a final decision has not yet been reached, it is obvious that the United States could be selected because the Boeing Company which manufactures most of the aircraft is located there.

The two boxes were found shortly after the fatal crash on Sunday that killed all 157 persons aboard.
