NEWSROOM (ADV) – After eight years in office as Extraordinary Ambassador and plenipotentiel of the Federation of Russia to Central Africa, Sergey Labanov had to leave for Moscow after his successful mission reached to an end.
“The future of our cooperation will be on a very solid basis. Russia will always be at the side of the Central African government in its quest for peace and security throughout the territory,” said the Russian diplomat.
“I have expressed confidence that these relationships have a very good perspective because they have taken a very solid foundation for many years,” said Sergey Labanov.
Sergey Labanov is convinced that peace, stability and security are factors that are necessary for the social and economic development of the country. “The Russian Federation is a very reliable partner and we will do our best to speed up the return of security throughout the country,” he added.
On January 15, Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed Ambassador Vladimir Titorenko to the Central African Republic. Vladimir Titorenko specializes in “issues related to new challenges and threats” and will succeed Sergei Lobanov, who has been in office since 2011.
