Senegal, Republic of Congo : new military agreements

NEWSROOM (ADV) – The governments of Senegal and the Republic of the Congo signed eight cooperation agreements that include the strengthening of military exchanges.

The documents, signed by the Senegalese Foreign Minister, Sidiki Kaba, and his Congolese counterpart, Jean-Claude Gakosso, also include the scientific-technical, cultural, artistic, judicial, higher education and research branches.

The local Minister expressed his satisfaction with the agreements ‘that put into perspective new axes of association,’ while his Congolese counterpart called to work together to guarantee the application of what is stipulated in the documents.
