NEWSROOM (ADV) – Nearly 33 percent of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sissi’s visits abroad were made to African countries, reflecting the political leadership’s interest in the African continent, the president of the General Organization said the president of the General Information Agency, Diaa Rachwan.
President Al-Sissi’s interest in Africa, Rachwan added in a meeting with the House of Deputies’ African Affairs Committee on the role of the organization at the African level, must be accompanied by such an activity at the executive and legislative levels.
He praised the role of the African Affairs Committee in strengthening relations with the African continent.
The General Information Agency is working hard to convey to the world the true image of Egypt, he said, noting that the organization is working to support external relations with all countries of the world.
