Senegal : President Macky Sall launched the Open Digital Space in the Kolda region

NEWSROOM (ADV) – The Open Digital Space was inaugurated yesterday by the Head of State. Macky Sall hinted that the NWE will host more than 500 students.

The open digital space, in addition to a videoconferencing room, has a restaurant, administrative rooms, a telemedicine room.

In his speech, Mr. Sall reminded the importance of the Virtual University of Senegal “with this ENO, the region has an infrastructure that prefigures departmental competitiveness cluster with the university center delocalized Kolda, research centers and tests of Medina Yoro Foula and the ISEP of Vélingara “, informs the president of the republic.

“This device will allow students to not be isolated. A course can be given from here for all Senegal as in Dakar, from the United States and to be received here.

This is a high technology offered to Kolda students. It’s a revolution, “says Minister of Higher Education and Research Mary Teuw Niane.

According to Mr. Niane, this open digital space will support students in training in information and communication technologies.

The ENO Oussouye “will have a telemedicine room connected to hospitals and foreign universities,” says Niane.
