NEWSROOM (ADV) – The Constitutional Council of Cameroon announced Friday night that it should proclaim the results of the presidential election next Monday.

This means that the results of the race to supreme power will be made public by the deadline provided by law, which indicates that the Constitutional Council validates and announces the presidential outcome within a maximum of 15 days following the poll, which was organized on October 7th.

The highest body of Cameroonian justice, composed of eleven judges appointed by President Paul Biya who is seeking his seventh consecutive term, has just rejected the early morning 18 petitions for the cancellation of the vote after a hearing of four days.
