Casablanca, Morocco (ADV) – Morocco finally accepted the transfer of Thomas Gallay to France to serve the rest of his sentence in his country.

The kingdom responded favorably to a friendly request made personally by the French President, Emmanuel Macron, to extradite the French national, says Monday the Ministry of Justice.

The ministry stresses, in a statement, that the approval by Morocco came after all the conditions provided by the law were fulfilled, and this, in accordance with the national legal provisions governing judicial cooperation with foreign countries, as well as at the end of a fluid application of the provisions of the bilateral judicial convention concluded in this matter between Morocco and France.
