Casablanca (ADV) – A Cameroonian contingent, made up of 295 gendarmes including 4 doctors, will be deployed in the coming weeks in the Central African Republic within the framework of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Mission for the Stabilization of this neighboring country (MINUSCA).

For this purpose, those concerned are to undergo a two-month training course at the Awae Law Enforcement Training Center, located some 20 kilometers from Yaounde, focusing in particular on UN standards, the maintenance and restoration of public order, tactics of intervention, the protection of high personalities, transmissions or the training of commanders.

At the end of this cycle, the new members of the Cameroonian contingent at MINUSCA, the fifth in the series, were warned against any behavior, in the exercise of their mission abroad, likely to damage their reputation or tarnish the image of Cameroon.
