Casablanca, (ADV) – Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi on Thursday reiterated his country’s support for Sudan’s efforts to achieve peace in South Sudan, official SUNA news agency reported.
Sisi made the remarks following talks with his Sudanese counterpart Omar al-Bashir at the presidential palace in Khartoum on Thursday evening.
He said Egypt is seeking to achieve peace in the region as the stability in the region is an integral part of the stability of Egypt.
He further noted that his visit to Sudan is of special importance to all Egyptian people.
