Ethiopia : Redwan Hussein becomes the first Ethiopian ambassador in Eritrea after two decades

Casablanca, (ADV) – Former government Minister Redwan Hussein was appointed first ambassador of Ethiopia in Eritrea after 20 years of hostility between the two nations.

The series of events following the declaration of peace singed by Eritrea and Ethiopia is still ongoing, with the recent appointment of Redwan Hussein as ambassador in Eritrea. The latter, 42 years old, is an Ethiopian politician, he was a member of the parliament and Minister of Youth and Sports.

Heearned his BSC in Biology atAddis Ababa University in 1995 and his MA in Organizational Leadership at AZUSA Pacific University in 2006. Redwan Hussein served in numerous higher government positions. He was government Minister from 2013 to 2015, executive Committee Member of EPRDF from 2006 up to now, executive Committee member of South Ethiopia People Democratic Movement (SEPDM) from 2004 up to now.

Redwan Hussein was the Minister of Youth and Sports before being appointment ambassador in Eritrea.
