Tunisia : new African finances to an ambitious national digital project

Casablanca, (ADV) – The Assembly of the People’s Representatives, or Tunisian parliament, approved Tuesday an agreement with African Development Bank (ADB) on a loan to fund the “Digital Tunisia 2020” project.

The credit, 71 million euros, will be repaid over 19 years with a grace period of 6 years.

Spreading over the period (2018-2022) the overall cost of this project amounts to 135 million euros. The ADB will provide almost 53 percent of the investment, while the rest will be funded by Tunisian government.
