Casablanca, (ADV with agencies) – At least two people were killed Saturday in two explosions in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia.
The attackers drove a car bomb to the Peace Garden checkpoint near the Syl Hotel, near the presidential palace. And another explosion took place in the same area at the El-Gab junction just after the first one.
The attack came just a week after a similar attack by al-Qaeda affiliated Islamist Somali Islamists against a building housing the Ministry of the Interior and Security, which left at least 12 dead and 17 wounded.
