Rwanda : the CECAFA Women Challenge Cup starts today in Kigali

Casablanca, (ADV) – The 2018 CECAFA Women Challenge Cup hosted by Rwanda has kicked off today in Kigali.

The CECAFA Women’s Championship is an association football tournament for teams from Eastern Africa organized by Council for East and Central Africa Football Associations.

The long-awaited tournament has started today, following the arrival of all participating nations to Kigali, two days ago. The first two games are the following: Kenya vs Uganda and Rwanda vs Tanzania Mainland.

The CECAFA will last from the 19th to the 28th of July at Stade de Kigali. The competition’s program will go as follows:

Saturday, July 21:

Ethiopia vs Uganda – (Stade de Kigali, 14:00)

Kenya vs Tanzania – (Stade de Kigali, 16:30)

Sunday, July 22 : Rest Day

Monday, July 23:

Uganda vs Tanzania – (Stade de Kigali, 14:00)

Rwanda vs Ethiopia – (Stade de Kigali, 16:30)

Tuesday, July 24 : Rest Day

Wednesday, July 25:

Kenya vs Ethiopia – (Stade de Kigali, 14:00)

Uganda vs Rwanda – (Stade de Kigali, 16:30)

Thursday, July 26: Rest Day

Friday, July 27:

Ethiopia vs Tanzania – (Stade de Kigali, 14:00)

Rwanda vs Kenya – (Stade de Kigali, 16:30)
